Since its launch in May 2007, Social Media CIC has forged new paths in community journalism, starting the only not-for-profit newspaper in the region and the only media outlet that exclusively serves Northern Stoke-on-Trent.

We help people to connect with independent projects that fuse the most accessible writing with excellence in photography and art. We generate new light in our communities. We believe that every aspect of our society and culture deserves attention and that everybody has the right to express themselves.

Our status as a not-for profit Community Interest Company means that all of our income is ploughed into our development as a sustainable social enterprise, developing projects that meet specific needs.
